József Csobod began his role at Mercarius in mid-September. As the Operational Director, he is responsible for managing the service, claims, tire, and fleet business sectors.
József holds a degree in Economics. After completing his studies, he worked for over two decades in the automotive industry on the importer side. He started his career as a controller and later worked for several years as the head of controlling, giving him significant expertise in the financial sector. Recently, he held the role of Operational Director at Porsche Hungaria, where he played a leading role in overseeing the company’s daily operations.
Due to his previous position, József had already been in close cooperation with the senior leadership of Mercarius for several years. The core values of Mercarius and the success and customer-oriented approach he experienced during their collaboration made Mercarius stand out among other market players.
The expanding portfolio of Mercarius, the rapid growth of the fleet size, and the opening of new service points, all demonstrate a growth potential that reinforced his belief that Mercarius is the right fit for him.
József is a results-driven leader. He firmly believes that progress and success can only be achieved with a motivated team. Therefore, his primary focus at Mercarius is to identify the internal driving force in each team member. Understanding and uncovering employee motivation is crucial for him to achieve the long-term operational goals.
He also believes that direct and constructive communication is essential for effective work. He considers open and regular dialogue to be one of the key elements in problem-solving.
